About Us

Smorgers Catering was created in 1998 by owner/chef, Ken Garrard who had left behind a career spanning over 30 years in the catering industry with the idea of creating a bespoke catering and hospitality service for the mid-Cornwall region. We have recently expanded our activities by the creation of `Smorgers Delicatessen` in Fore street, St Austell which offers locally sourced cuisine and retail products made by small, artisan producers.

We have also developed a bespoke hot & chilled delivery service from the deli, to your door! Catering to individuals at work and home, business meetings, office functions and parties.

Our client list now includes the Eden project, Cornwall county council, Ocean group, West Pharma Rubber and many, many more locally companies and since it`s inception, supplied catering for private clients exceeding over 1000 to date!
